Canadian Dairy Business Summit Returns to Kick Off Canadian Dairy XPO 2026
Event on March 31 summit kicks off CDX 2026 April 1- 2 in Stratford, Canada
The Canadian Dairy Business Summit, a one day educational event for dairy producers, will take place on March 31, 2026 at the Stratford Rotary Complex, the same venue that will host Canadian Dairy XPO, starting on April 1. The summit brings together industry leaders, experts, and farmers to discuss key challenges and opportunities in Canadian dairy. Organized by DLG North America, the event is designed to help producers gain practical insights they can take back to their operations. Tickets are still available.

This one-day event, running from 10 am to 4.30 pm, is designed to deliver high-impact dairy education between milking times, bringing together progressive dairy producers, industry experts, and leading voices for a full day of insight, strategy, and practical discussion about the future of Canadian dairy.
The Canadian Dairy Business Summit will address the topics most relevant to Canadian dairy producers today, including:
-Darcy Tucker, NHL legend – Projecting the Strength of the Canadian Dairy Industry
-Annie AcMoody, CEO of Dairy Farmers of Canada – State of the Industry, Vision for the Sector and Trade Outlook
-Dairy Farm Succession Panel – featuring dairy producers and succession professionals: Not just for the next generation in the barn
-Dr. Shari van de Pol, CATTLEytics Founder – Utilizing AI as a Tool in Dairy Profitability
Summit tickets are C$50, including a country style buffet lunch and access to the Calves for a Cause Preview Night with the calf parade, immediately following the summit. A complimentary ticket to attend the Canadian Dairy XPO the next day is also included. The goal is to offer a high-value package for dairy producers to step away from the farm for a day and return with new insights, connections, and inspiration for their dairy farm.
“This summit is about bringing together the conversations shaping Canadian dairy,” says Jordon Underhill, DLG Director of Exhibitions, North America. “When operating any business, it’s important to step away from day to day tasks to focus on how to run the business better in the future. Bringing the next generation with you only increases the value of that opportunity.”
Held at the Stratford Rotary Complex, the Canadian Dairy Business Summit kicks off two days of innovation and networking at the Canadian Dairy XPO, where thousands of dairy producers and industry leaders gather to explore the latest advancements in dairy farming. DLG North America, the organizer of both the Summit and the Canadian Dairy XPO, is committed to providing producers with in-depth technical knowledge and practical insights to help make informed business decisions.
